Yellow operation indicators

If at least one operation in a job is valid for scheduling (green) and there are one or more that are yellow, the indicator on the job level will remain green. You will need to expand upon the job for more details. You can also see the operation indicators on the operation level by choosing the list by operation view from the manage tab. Apply a filter on the operation? column to focus on yellow operations only.

Problem:

The operation indicator shows yellow. The yellow indicator identifies a Job or operation that is not valid for scheduling. 
 

Cause(s):

• The operation has been marked as complete in the ERP system
• The Operation has no outstanding quantity to produce
• The operation has no setup or run time
   

Solution(s):

• Reopen the operation in the ERP system and refresh APS.
• If quantity has been reported incorrectly then this should be reversed in the ERP system or via the transaction review. APS will then require refreshing.
• Operations require time to be present to schedule in APS. Add time in the routing and refresh APS.
