Scenario: We are trying to minimize the time in which employees spend walking to and from terminals to start and stop tasks. This is particularly the case when a set up task may only take a couple of minutes to complete. Are we able to start set up and run tasks at the same time? If so what happens to the hours? Solution(s): You can indeed both start and stop set up and run tasks at the same time to minimize the time employees spend reporting. We can then manage how this time is split accordingly. There are two settings we need to review to enable this; enable Multi-jobbing and Split time by settings. You will need to check this for each element that employees use to start tasks (Add Task, Workbench, Barcode entry) The below steps detail how this can be completed for the 3 different types of elements.
