Top Tips

Reimport deleted work units if they are required again at a later date.

Problem:

I have old work units still visible in APS, these are no longer in use however I cannot see where I can delete these.

Solution(s):

Work Units can be deleted from APS! This must be done via the Resource definition window which can be opened either for an individual work Unit, entire work center or for all work units. 

To delete a single work unit:

  1. Locate the work unit in either the factory explorer or the schedule board
  2. Right click on the work unit
  3. Select Edit
  4. Place a check in the delete column
  5. Select OK
  6. Chose option for processing - It is recommended that you select unschedule

To delete multiple work units:

  1. Select the Home Tab
  2. Select Work Units
  3. Select Work Unit View 
  4.  Place a check in the delete column for each work unit you wish to delete
  5. Select OK
  6. Chose option for processing - It is recommended that you select unschedule
