Problem: Operations include set up time, I no longer want to schedule this some or all of the time. Can I manage this within APS or do I have to change the routings? Solution(s):
1. Open APS setting from the Schedule tab 2. Select the Routing Tab 3. Under set up check or uncheck Use Set up time 4. Select Save
1. Select the schedule tab 2 . In the Rules section check or uncheck use set up time as required
1. Select Autoschedule as per your normal process 2. Use the pull down arrow , top center, to reveal additional options 3. Check or uncheck Use set up time accordingly 4. Continue to Autoschedule as normal
The default settings in APS are designed to accurately reflect the routing in your ERP system. APS includes a number of settings that allow you to deviate away from this. These include the ability to enable or disable scheduling different task types within operations as well as whether or not resources are consumed during different task types.
