Consider whether additional options could be beneficial such as 'Hide if activity is started by another resource'

Scenario:

Employees should not be able to start an activity before the previous activity has been completed or started. 
 

Solution(s):

The show/Hide operations setting allows you to refine what the user can see and therefore start in the workbench. The hide options may differ depending on the Enterprise Resource Planning application LYNQ is integrated with. To enable any of these follow the below steps. This setting is applied in the workbench elements. If you require different settings for different terminals you can copy the workbench element(s), amend settings accordingly and assign to individual terminals.

  1. Select Settings followed by advanced settings
  2. Locate the workbench element(s) and select edit
  3. Select Settings
  4.  Under Job List select Show/hide operations
  5.  Check all that apply
  6.  Select OK
  7. Select Save
  8. Select Save
  9. Repeat as required for all workbench elements
