I've copied a button but it is not changing the resource status accordingly

Problem:

I have copied a downtime button and changed it's name. However when an employee selects this their status is changing to the original button name not the new one.
 

Cause(s):

The only thing that has been changed when copying a a downtime element is the button name. The Status associated with this button has not been updated and therefore neither has the related diversion. Additional changes are required so that the button functions as expected. 

Solution(s):

To understand how new downtime elements are created you you firstly need to understand how to configure statuses, diversions and functions. It is recommended that you review the related articles to understand these relationships. You can then choose to either create these manually or use Quick Set up to create new downtime elements going forward.
