Save your Profile
You should regularly save your profile as you are configuring LYNQ. This will allow you to restore the profile if required.

Before configuring LYNQ for the first time , the default profile must be imported.  Periodically, LYNQ may ship a newer version of the profile and on-screen elements which do not already exist in LYNQ can be appended. The default profile includes pre-defined data to speed up the implementation process.

Data is created for:

  • Terminals
  • On-Screen Elements
  • Scrap Reason Codes
  • Classification Codes
  • Issue Types
  • Custom Tracking Codes
  • Dropdowns
  • Tasks
  • Periods
  • Schedulers
  • Bookmarks
  • Webhooks
Particular care must be taken when importing the default profile.  Do NOT import the default profile against a configured production installation of LYNQ.  As importing the default profile may overwrite any configuration work already completed.

To import the default profile:

  1. Settings
  2. Advanced Settings
  3. Select Profiles
  4. Select the profile that includes the version (i.e 2019 R1 English)
  5. Select Load Selected

To save the current profile:

  1. Settings
  2. Advanced Settings
  3. Select Profiles
  4. Select Save Current
  5. Enter and Name and Description for the Profile
  6. Select Save
