Changing/Leaving Crew |
LYNQ supports the concept of operators working in a crew. Crews can be associated to an employee or to a terminal. The predefined terminal '4 - Crew' demonstrates the functionality available. When selecting the buttons to join a crew in the workbench, the employee will automatically become a crew member. Job orders that are either running, started or stopped will be applied to all crew members. Transactions generated whilst working in a crew, will capture the crew name. When the button 'Crew Break' is selected all crew members will go on break at the same time. Crew data collection activities such as reporting good and bad quantities, are performed no differently to when a employee is using the workbench, outside a crew. However, LYNQ will associate quantity reported with the employee that starts the job order. This is likely to be improved in future releases of LYNQ.
The employee can now use the Join Crew (Employee) button on the workbench, if the terminal is configured to show this button. To associate a terminal to a crew:
