New in 2016 Service Pack 1 is the ability to specify minimum rest times for employees using the Workbench data collection feature .  Minimum rest times can be applied to indirect tasks such as break and lunch and has been incorporated into the software to meet U.S state employment legislation.

It is possible either warn the user or prevent the user from clocking in using the 'Back to Previous' function with this setting.  Rest time is based on accumulated time and the application will begin tracking the rest time from the moment the user selects the Start Day function.  Rest time is reset once the user selects the End Day function.
